Deer Creek was acquired by the current owner in 2018 with one goal in mind, creating the best whitetail deer habitat in the area. The new owner sold off the edges, leaving +/- 1200 acres with superb boundaries and over 16 large green fields. Half the timber was immediately harvested with that acreage replanted with loblolly seedlings. The remaining half of the timber, over 600 acres, was left untouched and a recent timber cruise shows over $1.2M in merchantable hardwood value. Deer creek today is a mix of +/- 3 year old bedding and cover intertwined with a massive stand of mast producing hardwood with food plots strategically placed throughout. Not only is this property a top shelf whitetail property, it's also loaded with turkeys, small game and 3 ponds for year round enjoyment. The lodge at Deer Creek was built with entertainment in mind. The 13 bedrooms will accommodate the largest families or even corporate retreats. The kitchen, den and common areas make gathering for meals after a long day in the woods enjoyable. Everybody has their own space at Deer Creek. Schedule an appointment today.
